Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Chief Fellow

Jack Rubinstein, M.D.


Jack Rubinstein, M.D., is our 2008-2009 Chief Fellow for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program at Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Rubinstein received his medical degree from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico in 2000 and a completed a research fellowship at the National Institute of Cardiology in Mexico City in 2001. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in 2005 and was chief resident for Thomas Jefferson University at the Frankford-Torresdale campus, both in Philadelphia, PA. He became board certified in Internal Medicine in 2005. He is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Rubinstein is involved in several research projects including studies in cholesterol accumulation in the myocardium, advanced cardiac imaging, medical teaching and development of improved assist devices for the elderly. He has presented this work in local, national and international meetings and journals.
